It all depends on the weather for us as we operate out of a non-climatized greenhouse. We will be offering our heirloom seed line this Saturday at The People's Market Seed Swap, located at Mountain Valley Seed Company, 1700 South 455 West from 6-8pm. Bring your leftover seeds from last season to swap with other gardeners. Other local companies will be on hand offering their wares as well. Refreshments will be served and there's ever square dancing afterward! This is a fun event for gardeners and growers of all kinds so be sure not to miss it. Also, I am offering a Seed Starting Workshop for anyone wanting to learn the best methods for successful, healthy garden plants from seed. The workshop will be held on February 3rd from 7-8:30pm at our place, unless otherwise notified upon registration. Class includes instruction, informational handouts, hands on experience, Q & A period, local resources for affordable seed starting supplies, as well as one on one gardening advice. RSVP and pre-payment is required for this class, we only have a few open slots left. Also, your reservation helps me in planning materials and refreshments needed. Cost is $20 per person. Snowy days like today are made for dreaming about your spring garden.
